Private Music Lessons and Performances

I love music and I love teaching even more. I grew up in the mountains of Colorado and now live here with my husband, puppy, and cute little girl. ​

I graduated from Southern Utah University with a bachelor's in Elementary Education. After teaching 5th grade for a while, I decided to focus on my family and pursue childhood dreams of teaching music.​

I have been learning, performing, and loving music since I was 7 years old and I have taught music lessons for the past 4 years. I have extensive performance experience through band, orchestra, church, theater, and school. I love the unique opportunity to share my understanding and love for music with each of my students and their families and to share through performing.

My lessons are built on my belief that music should bring joy and that confidence is the first step to a happy musician. I have found this easily achievable with each student by implementing evidence-based practices I learned and used as a teacher.
